Atlanta authorities are making bold accusations against Lil Baby, linking his music video shoot to a string of retaliatory gang violence that ultimately claimed the lives of two 13-year-old boys. According to the Atlanta Police Department (APD), the rapper’s decision to film in a rival gang territory sparked a deadly cycle of violence that spiraled out of control.
On Wednesday, Major Ralph Woolfolk, head of APD’s Violent Crime Interdiction Section, addressed the media, revealing that the July 2024 murders of Jakody Davis and Lamon Freeman were tied to an ongoing gang war—one allegedly triggered by a shootout at Lil Baby’s music video set.
