Police officers sprang into action after receiving reports of a stolen Jeep SUV with a child inside. However, authorities quickly learned that the Jeep Wagoneer was never stolen and the mother filed a false report.
Georgia woman busted for false stolen Jeep report
Georgia police officers responded to the scene at the 2900 block of Panola Road to recover a stolen Jeep SUV. Allegedly, the Jeep was stolen while a four-year-old was in the backseat.
The mother of the child, Kenta Jenkins, claimed that she was the victim of an armed carjacking. Reportedly, her 2020 Jeep Wagoneer was taken while it was left running, unoccupied, and unattended.
