Uber exec promises tipping will be completely axed for certain customers and ends price switches after ride ordered

NO driver, no tip – that’s the new policy Uber is rolling out in cities across the country, an executive has confirmed to The U.S. Sun, along with several other changes that could save you money.

Over the past two years, the transportation and ride-share company has expanded its driverless options, and now it’s getting rid of tipping for good when you ride in an autonomous vehicle, which The U.S. Sun got to exclusively try out this month.

Uber’s partnership with driverless car company Waymo means riders can look forward to changes and pricing perks, Sachin Kansal, Uber’s chief product officer, said.
