Zachary Imbriano, 31, of Talking Rock, is accused of mixing chemicals to make chlorine gas, in the bed of a work truck after being fired for drinking on the job, on April 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cumberland Point Business Park, 1700 Cumberland Point Drive in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.
Mixing the chemicals can cause serious injury or death depending on the concentration. At 49.9, it causes severe lung damage. Imbriano set up bags of this that would mix when attempted to be moved and would expose anyone nearby. Imbriano is also accused of hitting the windshield and rear window of the truck, slashing the seat and ripping out parts of the passenger door. He also broke necessary equipment and product used by the business, according to the warrant.
Imbriano is charged with public drunk; criminal damage – second degree; terroristic threats hazardous substance; and aggravated assault article. He was arrested on April 1 at 6:39 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
