Suspect in fatal Little Five Points chase denied bond; victim’s mother ‘disgusted’ by her actions

ATLANTA — The mother of the innocent bystander killed during a high-speed police pursuit through Atlanta’s Little Five Points neighborhood said she is “horrified” by the actions of the driver who slammed into her child’s car, calling for the highest level of justice during a bond hearing Friday.

The fleeing driver, who has been identified by authorities as Faduma Mohamed, allegedly ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle, killing 19-year-old Cooper Schoenke.
