Aldi announces three new Georgia locations will open soon. See the locations

Aldi is expanding its presence in Georgia with three new stores planned for this year .

This expansion comes on the heels of the German grocery chain’s acquisition of Southeastern Grocers Inc (SEG), parent company of Winn-Dixie and Harvey’s supermarkets, in 2024.

This acquisition was part of a larger $9 billion, 5-year plan to add 800 stores nationwide. Aldi plans to open 225 new stores across the U.S. in 2025.

What Aldi stores are opening in Georgia?

In addition to Georgia’s 88 stores, here are the new locations :

  • 2714 Osborne Rd., St. Marys
  • 1058 Hwy. 19 N, Thomaston
  • 1208 Crawford St., Americus
