SMYRNA, Ga. — The historic Concord Road Covered Bridge is once again undergoing repairs after being hit by an over-height vehicle, despite clear warnings posted in the area.
According to Cobb County DOT, a car carrier struck the protective beam at the entrance to the bridge near the Smyrna/Mableton line. Authorities cited the driver, and crews are now working to repair the damage.
