DECATUR, Ga. — Former 11Alive anchor and current NBC News correspondent Blayne Alexander will speak at Agnes Scott College’s 136th Commencement Ceremony.
Alexander, who still lives in Atlanta, began her journalism career in Georgia and was a lead reporter and anchor at 11Alive before joining NBC News. She now serves as a national correspondent for Dateline NBC.
Over the last decade, her reporting has covered many defining moments — including the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 election, the death of Congressman John Lewis and the movement for racial justice. Her work has taken her from the White House to the Rio Summer Olympic Games and she’s been nominated for four Emmy Awards.
