The Atlanta Police Department is calling on the public to assist in tracking down a woman alleged to have played a role in a robbery. The incident, which is said to have occurred in February, involved the victim being swindled on a dating site before being confronted and robbed by a group of men. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the event took place on the afternoon of Feb. 25 at an apartment on the 800 block of Oak Street SW.
The male victim reported that he connected with two women on a social network and agreed to meet them at the specified address. Upon arrival, he was ambushed by five men who then stole his Nike Jordan sneakers and cash from his wallet. The assailants subsequently fled the scene. The victim was unable to identify the women who purportedly set up the robbery, but he managed to give the police a photo of one of them.
