Streetz 94.5 & Rolling Out host Tacos and Tequila Festival

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, Atlanta’s Piedmont Park transformed into a vibrant celebration of culture and community as Streetz 94.5 and Rolling Out Magazine hosted the annual Tacos and Tequila Festival. From noon until 9 p.m., festival goers experienced a day full of flavor, rhythm, sunshine, and positive energy.

Hosted by Streetz 94.5’s very own Jigi Deniro, the event was a highlight of Cinco de Mayo weekend. The atmosphere was alive with music, laughter, and delicious aromas, as attendees enjoyed a wide range of taco options and tequila selections. The event was open to guests aged 21 and over and attracted visitors from across Atlanta and neighboring cities, many of whom came ready to eat, sip, and vibe.

An all-day celebration of flavor and music

Starting at noon, the festival welcomed attendees to indulge in a curated selection of food and drink options. Multiple food vendors served up a wide range of tacos including traditional carne asada, carnitas, barbacoa, vegetarian, and fusion tacos with creative twists. Some featured unique toppings like mango slaw, chipotle aioli, or pineapple salsa, bringing bold and diverse flavors to the park.

On the tequila side, guests sampled everything from smooth blanco and aged reposado to spicy margaritas and creative tequila cocktails. The event had something for everyone, and attendees took full advantage of the drink tents and pop-up bars located throughout the park.

The vibe was upbeat and welcoming. Whether dancing near the main DJ booth or lounging on the grass with tacos in hand, attendees were clearly enjoying every minute of the experience. With curated DJ sets playing hip hop, reggaeton, Afrobeats, and R&B, music became the heartbeat of the day.
