25-year-old woman shot at MARTA station, may have been ‘unintended target’ police say

ATLANTA — A woman was shot early Sunday at the Midtown MARTA station and may have been an “unintended target,” police said, after gunfire broke out in a verbal dispute.

The Atlanta Police Department said the woman was taken to a hospital by ambulance and was alert, conscious and breathing at the time; there were no additional details available about her injuries or condition.
