Atlanta Police Seek Public’s Help to Identify Suspect in Late-April Shooting Near Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway

The Atlanta Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect in a shooting that occurred in late April. The incident, resulting in a 47-year-old man sustaining a gunshot wound, took place on April 28 at around 1:45 a.m. near 2621 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW, according to FOX 5 Atlanta. Responding Zone 1 officers discovered the victim who was then promptly transported to the hospital for treatment.

Despite being alert and able to communicate, the man was unable to provide a clear account of how he came to be shot. The Atlanta Police Department’s Aggravated Assault Unit has continued to actively work the case and has, in efforts to expedite the identification process, released surveillance imagery and footage of a male suspect believed to be connected to the shooting event.
