Cobb Commission Could Copy Marietta’s Crackdown on Homeless Camps

The Cobb County Police Department is asking county officials for changes to local law that would enable them to crack down on camping and other behaviors associated with street homelessness.

The request, which also calls for greater collaboration across Cobb’s law enforcement agencies, came at a recent Board of Commissioners work session on homelessness.
