Atlanta-Area Mom Fatally Stabbed By Man Who Made Shocking Confession: “I Might Be Some Type of Sick…”

Lisa Rosenthal, a 40-year-old mother of two, was found fatally stabbed on January 12, 2006, in her Alpharetta, Georgia, home by emergency personnel responding to a 911 call made by her son.

“She had been stabbed multiple times in the front, in the face, in the arm and also in the back,” said Glenn Kalish, who at the time was a homicide detective with the Fulton County Police Department.

“There’s a significant amount of blood on the body. There’s also some blood spatter on the wall,” Kalish said in the “Terror in the Suburbs” episode of The Real Murders of Atlanta, airing Saturdays at 8/7c p.m. on Oxygen
