Missing 11-Year-Old G’ingua Benson-Oneal Found Safe in Atlanta

The Atlanta community breathed a collected sigh of relief upon hearing that 11-year-old G’ingua Benson-Oneal, who went missing last Friday, has been found safe. The Atlanta Police Department confirmed that the child was located, however, they have not disclosed further details regarding the circumstances of her discovery.

G’ingua was reported missing after she was last seen on foot near her home at 318 Simpson Terrace NW last Friday around 3 p.m. At the time of her disappearance, according to FOX 5 Atlanta, she was wearing a short-sleeved black shirt, tan (khaki) sweatpants, and white-and-black Nike sneakers. The report also stated that officers responded to the missing juvenile case at approximately 4:01 p.m. the same afternoon.

As soon as G’ingua was reported missing, the Atlanta police classified the case as “critical,” indicating a high level of concern for her welfare. Standing 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing around 144 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, she was described in detail in hopes of a member of the public identifying her.
