ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A small group gathered on Tuesday to release 33 balloons to honor the people buried in an area of Legacy Park in Decatur.
The unmarked graves were discovered by construction crews working on a path at the park. Decatur city officials said the burials may include one adult, 22 children, eight infants and two cremations.
