AUSTELL, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A man and woman are in police custody after making police chase them for stealing from a clothing store in Austell.
According to police, officers responded to a theft at Citi Trends – located at 5055 Austell Rd Suite 145 – just before 4 p.m. on Saturday. While officers were on their way, they were told about the description of the suspect vehicle and seen leaving the parking lot.
Officers tried to begin a traffic stop but the suspect vehicle drove off and crashed into a fire hydrant. Both the man and woman hopped out of the car and ran away…
