Residents of the quiet neighborhood in Atlanta were awakened to the sound of gunshots yesterday morning, as a tragic incident unfolded on Alison Court SW. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers were called to the scene at approximately 7:34 am after reports of a person shot at 2045 Alison Court SW. On arrival, they encountered a male individual brandishing both a rifle and a handgun in front of the address.
Before any meaningful dialogue could be initiated, the suspect fled, eluding the police and sparking immediate pursuit. Officers, caught in a situation fraught with uncertainty, subsequently heard several gunshots.
