Two young children who were trapped inside a hot car outside a shopping mall were rescued by Georgia police officers in an intense rescue operation on body-worn cameras.
The Cobb County Police Department released footage showing officers responding to a 911 call from a concerned citizen who noticed the children were visibly distressed and crying inside the vehicle.
The footage captured the moment officers broke the car window to free the children, with police noting that the inside temperature of the vehicle had risen to 117 degrees.
