ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Police said a man was caught trying to fly nearly $3 million worth of drugs from the Atlanta airport to Brazil.
On June 28, Customs and Border Protection agents and Atlanta police officers seized more than 52 pounds of marijuana and THC products from a man flying out of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Sao Paulo, Brazil, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
Police said the man, identified as Vance Ray Randolph, was arrested after officers and agents discovered the following in his luggage:
- 12.35 pounds of THC wax
- 34.39 pounds of hashish
- 4.6 pounds of marijuana
- 1.21 pounds of “pasty marijuana”
Police said the drugs have an estimated street value of $2.97 million…
