Patrick Francis Kim, 30, of Braselton, is accused of prying open mailboxes and letters on July 4 at 7:50 p.m. at 3725 George Busbee Parkway in Kennesaw, in the Townpark Crossing apartment complex, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Kim was seen by a resident of the complex taking mail from the boxes after he got on top of them, pried them open and damaged the locks. He also took a key tagged “Property of U.S.P.S.,” which was used to open more mailboxes. He was found with the key in his right pocket and in possession of the letters in the complex’s pool area, according to the warrant.
Kim is charged with theft by taking – greater than $1,500; possession of tools; and criminal damage to mailbox. He was arrested on July 4 at 7:59 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
