Good Samaritan helps Atlanta police officer arrest armed person

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Dramatic body camera footage shows the moment a good Samaritan jumped in to help an Atlanta police officer make an arrest.

On Friday, an officer responded to Peachtree Street, near the Garnett MARTA station, for a person in the area pointing a gun at people – which officers later discovered was a BB gun.

When the officer approached the suspect, identified as Harold Sullivan, he took off but didn’t make it far before being taken to the ground…
