MARIETTA — This week, students and families in Marietta City Schools got a helping hand from a Big Blue Bus
The Big Blue Bus visits neighborhoods with high populations of students who qualify for free and reduced lunches. The bus provides students with internet access to register for school, upload missing documents, order uniforms and sign up for lunch programs.
Marietta City Schools helped students and families at two locations on Tuesday. The Big Blue Bus was parked outside of the Rosemont Bentley apartments while another group overtook the lobby of Dwell at 750 apartment complex. The bus offered documents in English and Spanish, while the group at Dwell included bilingual workers who were able to translate documents for families…
