Suspect charged with trafficking meth on Franklin Gateway

Saturnino Villarreal, 32, of Marietta, is accused of possessing 6.6 kilograms of methamphetamine in his hotel room on July 8 at 8:45 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, 1250 Franklin Gateway in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

Villarreal also had in his possession 1,106.2 grams of liquid methamphetamine in the hotel room. When police made contact with Villarreal at the intersection of Delk Road and Franklin Gateway, he was in possession of 0.9 grams of cocaine in his right pocket and a Sig Sauer P238 Equinox pistol in the passenger side glove box, according to the warrant.

Villarreal is charged with two counts of trafficking methamphetamine; possession of cocaine; and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony – controlled substance. He was arrested on July 8 at 11 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
