Devin Ray Millsaps, 20, of Marietta, is accused of operating a silver 2011 Toyota and laying drags in the parking lot of Town Center at Cobb mall, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Millsaps was seen laying drags by intentionally causing his vehicle’s tires to lose traction. He was close to other people while doing this. Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but Millsaps fled the area at 60 mph on Ring Road. He then turned onto Barrett Parkway driving in a reckless manner by swerving between traffic at high speed. Millsaps then continued onto I-75 North reaching a speed of 125 mph while weaving in and out of traffic. Police had to perform a precision immobilization technique, or PIT maneuver, to stop Millsaps from fleeing, according to the warrant.
Millsaps is charged with driving – fleeing/attempting to elude; reckless stunt driving; and reckless driving. He was arrested on July 16 at 11:13 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
