GEORGIA — A man is in custody while another remains hospitalized following an overnight shooting at an apartment complex in northwest Atlanta, police report.
The incident occurred just before 12:30 a.m. Monday at the Neal Street Apartments, located at 700 Neal Street NW. Responding officers found a man with a gunshot wound who was alert, conscious, and breathing. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police identified 33-year-old Muhammad Rashadd as the suspect. During the investigation, authorities learned Rashadd and a female witness left the scene in a Toyota Camry. Rashadd later contacted police at Peach Street and Mitchell Street, believing he was injured during the incident…
