AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Georgia’s VA hospitals are facing “severe” staffing shortages, according to a report from the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Inspector General.
Nurses at the Augusta VA hospital raised concerns about these staffing shortages at a recent meeting even as the agency plans to cut 30,000 more workers this year.
