Georgia Woman Mauled to Death by Dogs While Walking Home

GEORGIA — A Union City family is mourning the devastating loss of a 62-year-old grandmother who was mauled to death by a group of dogs while walking home from the bank. Donna Nguyen, a mother of four and grandmother of five, was attacked on August 1 along Lakeside Drive in a quiet Georgia neighborhood.

Her son, Charles Ingram, described the experience as something no family should endure. “It’s a nightmare,” he told WRDW News.

A Devoted Matriarch Remembered

Nguyen was described by her family as caring, outgoing, and full of life. “She’d give you the shirt off her back,” Ingram said. “Love the laugh. Have fun. Very outgoing person.”

A lover of long walks, Nguyen had just visited her bank and was returning home when she was viciously attacked. Her son confirmed that the family recovered her bank receipts from that morning, offering a chilling timestamp of her final moments.

Severe Injuries and a Rapid Decline
