Embattled South Fulton mayor announces he will run for reelection

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The South Fulton mayor announced on Monday that he is going to run for reelection after originally saying he had no plans to do so.

Mayor Khalid “Kobi” Kamau said the city is worth fighting for and he wants to be around for upcoming changes, including a new police headquarters.

“There’s just so much to look forward to, and I want to be here to just help the city keep moving forward,” he told Atlanta News First…
