JONESBORO — A Morrow woman who had been arrested in November of 2022 for fatally stabbing her husband was recently sentenced to life in prison.
According to a Monday, Aug. 18 press release from the Clayton County District Attorney’s Office, Tameka Scrivens was found guilty of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, family violence and two counts of possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.
The trial concluded Thursday, Aug. 14 and Georgia Senior Judge Arch McGarity sentenced Scrivens to life with the possibility of parole with an additional five years in confinement, to be run consecutively…
