Man formally charged with 6 felony counts in shooting of MARTA officers during public urination stop at Five Points station

ATLANTA — A man accused of opening fire on two MARTA police officers after being stopped for public urination at the Five Points station is now formally charged, according to newly filed warrants.

Christopher Daniels, 26, faces six felony counts and one misdemeanor in connection with the Aug. 7 shooting that shut down one of Atlanta’s busiest train stations overnight and left both officers hurt.
