The pickup driver who struck a trucker standing on the side of Interstate 75 and left the scene was a police officer of 14 years, records show.
36-year-old Terrell Lowdermilk was involved in a crash with another semi truck on August 13th. While standing outside of his rig with another driver, Lowdermilk was struck by a man in a pickup truck, who fled the scene. On Friday, August 15th, 48-year-old Christopher Bradshaw turned himself in to the Cobb County, Georgia jail for the incident.
According to WSBTV2, Bradshaw was a police lieutenant with the Milton Police Department for 14 years prior to the accident. He was fired on Monday, August 18th – a few days after turning himself in. He has been charged with homicide by vehicle and felony hit and run…
