ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A man has been sentenced to 45 years for carjacking a man and stealing his phone, according to the Fulton County district attorney.
The district attorney said Kentario Shields, 21, carjacked a man at gunpoint at an apartment complex on Joseph E. Boone Boulevard on Feb. 19, 2024. He stole both the victim’s car and his phone. Shields later sent the victim messages on his iCloud account, saying that he would kill the victim’s family if the car was reported stolen.
