Search Continues for Georgia Teen Missing for Over a Year

CUMMING, Ga. — Authorities and advocacy groups are continuing the search for a Georgia teen who has been missing for more than a year.

Isaiah Jesus Rico, 17, was reported missing on August 15, 2024, from the Cumming area, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Disappearance Details

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office reported that Rico was last seen while staying at a hotel under the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services. Since then, officials say he may have traveled to the Clayton County area.

Description of Missing Teen

Authorities released the following description of Rico:

  • Height: 5 feet, 10 inches
  • Weight: 160 pounds
  • Hair: Brown, possibly dyed
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Distinguishing features: Multiple tattoos on his face, arm, and hand

Ongoing Efforts to Locate Him
