GEORGIA — Authorities serving warrants in DeKalb County expected to target four suspects wanted for armed robbery and aggravated assault, but the operation resulted in 14 arrests and 68 additional warrants, officials said.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit, in partnership with the U.S. Marshals Task Force, conducted the operation in connection with crimes in Stone Mountain on Aug. 26. Three juveniles were among those arrested. Suspects’ ages range from 15 to 43.
Officials said 15 firearms were seized, including 11 modified with illegal automatic switches. Drugs confiscated included 220 grams of marijuana, 77 grams of MDMA/ecstasy, and 82 grams of cocaine…
