ATLANTA — A South Fulton Police officer was taken to the hospital with “serious injuries” after they were hit by a vehicle Thursday morning.
According to South Fulton Police, Cornelius Wood was responding to an earlier accident and assisting the drivers along Cascade Road shortly after 7 a.m.
