Driver pointed gun, threatened to kill during I-75 road rage incident, police say

Tyler Walton, 30, of Harvey, Illinois, is accused of aggressive driving and aggravated assault on Sept. 5 at 2:21 p.m. at the intersection of I-75 and Delk Road in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

Walton operated a blue Volkswagen Atlas with the intent to annoy and intimidate two people. He followed the victims on I-75 after failing to yield and nearly struck their vehicle.

When they exited I-75 onto Cumberland Boulevard, Walton followed them and had his driver’s side window down and was swearing at them. Walton then positioned his vehicle across a lane of travel, partially blocking their vehicle as he continued to yell and curse at them. Walton said multiple times that he was going to kill them, produced a handgun and pointed it at them while continuing to make threats to kill them, according to the warrant…
