Cobb County police are investigating a deadly stabbing at a Cumberland-area hotel, the same location where a 9-month-old baby was shot and killed earlier this week.
The incident occurred just after midnight Friday at the Budgetel Inn and Suites, located at 4900 Circle 75 Parkway near Windy Hill Road. Officers arrived to find two women suffering from stab wounds.
One victim, Amatrian Hawkins, 45, of Atlanta, had multiple stab wounds and later died after being transported to the hospital.
