Attempted prison drop leads to three arrests in Washington Co.

WASHINGTON Co., Ga. (WJBF) – Early Friday morning, just after midnight, a Washington County Deputy patrolling the Davisboro area conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no insurance and a suspended registration.

As deputies approached, they observed evidence suggesting a possible prison drop intended for Washington State Prison.

The occupants were asked to exit the vehicle. While complying, the driver dropped what appeared to be crack cocaine, according the Sheriff Joel Cochran.
