Teacher union calls for legislation to ensure better vetting process for DeKalb County superintendents

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A union representing teachers and other public school employees wants to change state law to help prevent the rapid turnover of DeKalb County superintendents.

In a letter to state lawmakers, the Georgia Federation of Teachers said DCSD has gone through four superintendents in six years.
