Teen released from hospital after suffering third-degree burns over 82% of his body in boat explosion

ATLANTA (WANF/Gray News) – A teenager who was injured in a boat explosion on a lake in Georgia back in July was released from the hospital.

Matthew Miller had been driving his family’s boat to take seven family members tubing.

Miller, who said he has 25 years of boating experience, said they had to refuel, so he idled in, shut off the engine and turned the blower fans on. He said the boat was well maintained and fairly new…
