No charges filed in Georgia animal attack that killed 62-year-old

ATLANTA, Ga. – A lack of evidence has led to charges not being filed in a deadly August animal attack that claimed the life of a great-grandmother in Georgia, according to police.

Donna Nguyen, 62, died on Aug. 14 after a severe dog mauling, which happened on Aug. 1, according to an incident report from the Fulton County Police Department.

A 53-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the death of Maria D. Nunez, who was mauled to death by two dogs in her yard in Baxley on Tuesday.

The incident report states Nguyen died from sepsis, which was caused by “significant wounds she received during the animal attack.”…
