ATLANTA — An apartment building could soon rise on the northwestern corner of the Atlanta Civic Center, as part of a broader effort to breathe life into the long-dormant site.
Atlanta Housing has secured approximately $60 million in public and private financing for the first phase of the redevelopment, said a spokesperson for the public housing authority. Now fully funded, the project will be built along Pine Street and provide 148 affordable units for low-income seniors.
