ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A Georgia Tech dining hall employee is wanted for allegedly shooting at a co-worker on campus.
On Tuesday, Oct. 21, Georgia Tech police said they responded to the West Village Dining Hall after a gunshot was fired inside.
Investigators found that Delante Gejuan Mayes, 28, and another contracted employee of the dining hall had an argument, after which Mayes allegedly went to his car, got a gun, came back inside and fired a shot at the co-worker.
Mayes is described as 6 feet, 4 inches tall. He’s believed to be driving a Black 2025 Jeep Compass with Georgia tag DBQ1997.
