A woman was injured in a violent incident in Atlanta last evening following a confrontation that escalated into an assault. According to a preliminary report from the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to 556 Magnolia Street NW around 6:02 p.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found a woman with a stab wound who had also been struck by a vehicle before the stabbing occurred. She was alert and able to speak with officers before being transported to a hospital for treatment.
