A sprawling luxury estate once belonging to filmmaker Tyler Perry has been sold for $2,453,500, well under its original asking price, according to listing agents.

The six-bedroom, 16,000-square-foot home sits on an 11-acre parcel at 9620 CedarGrove Road, and includes high-end amenities such as a theater, gym, tennis court, infinity pool and a six-bay garage that previously housed Perry’s collection of rare cars. Hubert Tate of Keller Williams Realty Buckhead exclusively represented the sale.
“We are excited for the new stewards, who now own a piece of Atlanta, Hollywood and real estate history,” Tate said in a press release.
When the estate first hit the market in October 2024, it was listed at $3.9 million, according to property records. Perry built the property in 2003.Over the years, it has been featured in several of his films, including “Diary of a Mad Black Woman.” The home has also appeared in more recent productions such as “Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul and Save Your Soul.”
According to listing agents, the home includes six full bathrooms and two half-baths.The six-bay garage reportedly still has space for vintage vehicles, echoing Perry’s penchant for rare cars, his former collection included a 1973 Rolls-Royce and a 1975 Ferrari, per earlier listings.
