Man arrested after alleged handgun possession in KSU housing, police say

Kyler Christsean Freeman, 21, of Griffin, is accused of possessing a 9mm Taurus G3C handgun with a magazine containing 12 rounds of hollow point ammunition on Nov. 19 at 11:25 p.m. at the housing dormitory – The Summit, 119 Marietta Drive in Kennesaw, on the Kennesaw State University Campus, according to an arrest warrant from the KSU Campus Police Department.

Freeman is charged with carrying weapons within a school safety zone. He was arrested on Nov. 19 at 11:25 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
