AirTag leads police to Chick-fil-A theft suspect

Richard George Cintron, 47, of Dallas, is accused of taking three Rubbermaid utility tilt trash carts and an Apple Air Tag, totaling $1,545, on Sept. 14 and Sept. 28 from the Chick-fil-A at 830 Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

Cintron was seen on surveillance cameras along with his personal vehicles on both dates. The Apple Air Tag helped police locate the items, which were pinging at Cintron’s residence. The items were later found by Paulding County deputies next Cintron’s truck, according to the warrant.

Cintron is charged with theft by taking – greater than $1,500. He was arrested on Nov. 19 at 2:48 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
