OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) — Two men accused of stealing thousands of dollars in fragrances from an Opelika Ulta — and more than $37,000 in merchandise nationwide — have been identified and arrested, according to the Opelika Police Department.
The theft happened on Oct. 3, 2025, at the Ulta Beauty on Enterprise Drive, where investigators say two male suspects walked out with more than $2,000 in high-end fragrances. Opelika Police released surveillance images days later, asking for the public’s help identifying them.
Detectives soon learned the theft was part of a much larger pattern. According to police, the two men were already known to Ulta Loss Prevention and were suspected in a series of retail thefts spanning multiple states, totaling roughly $37,000 in stolen beauty products…
