ATLANTA, Ga. – Attorney General Chris Carr announced that Stacey Humphreys is scheduled to be executed on December 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. for the 2003 murders of Cyndi Williams and Lori Brown. Humphreys has completed all direct appeals as well as state and federal habeas corpus proceedings, clearing the way for the execution.
The Crimes
On November 3, 2003, Humphreys, a convicted felon on parole, entered a model home sales office in Cobb County where Williams and Brown worked as real estate agents. He used a stolen handgun to coerce Williams into undressing and revealing the PIN for her ATM card, then tied her underwear tightly around her neck.
